Maureen K. Garner, Passed away peacefully Sunday, August 26, 2012 in Novato, California with her loving family at her side. Age, 80 years. Wife of the late Robert W. Garner. Mother of Peg E. Esteves and her husband Gabriel, Patricia Garner, Maureen Droesch and her husband Edward, Robert Garner and Laura Garner. Grandmother of Katie, Derek, Kirsten, Brendon, Lisa, Edward and Ellie. Great-grandmother of Luke, Kara and Lex. Sister of Ivy Lynch, James Devlin and his wife Mary Ellen, John Devlin and Monica Wixtead and her husband Jim. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends. Maureen was born in New Jersey and moved to California in 1967 with her husband Robert. She was a 44 year resident of Novato. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Novato and the Catholic Daughter's. The funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, August 31, 2012 at 11AM. Interment of her cremated remains will follow at San Francisco National Cemetery at the Presidio, San Francisco, California. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in her memory be made to Hospice By The Bay.
