Alamando Histo Cooper Sr.

Alamando Histo Cooper Sr. 62 of Santa Rosa, CA, passed away on December 27, 2017, peacefully in his sleep. Alamando is preceded in death by his parents, Frank H. Cooper Jr. and Remedios C. Cooper.
He is survived by his two sons, Ken McDaniel and Alamando H. Cooper Jr. His Brother A.J. Kemp, sisters Shinako Vance, Kazuko R. Beardsley and Tanaka Fannie Mae Cooper.
Alamando was born in San Francisco, California on June 18, 1955. He went to Montgomery High and Rancho Cotate High School. He enjoyed working and driving his Mopar muscle cars, watching pro stock drag racing, roller-skating at Star Skate World and a big football fan of the Minnesota Vikings. He was also a member of a mobile disc jockey business called, “M.F.D.” and an honorary member of the Nor-Cal Mopar & Muscle Car Club in Sonoma County.
Alamando “Mando” worked as an auto mechanic and specialized in Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge vehicles or Mopar Muscle cars. He enjoyed helping and working on other Mopar owners’ cars and loved cruising with the small group of Northern California Mopar owners in Sonoma County. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, his nieces, nephews and friends.
A private celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM on February 2, 2018 at the Santa Rosa Memorial Park Santa Rosa, Ca. near his resting place at the Tranquility Fountain in the S.R. Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Catholic Charities at 987 Airway Court Santa Rosa, Ca. 95403. The family of Alamando H. Cooper Sr. wishes to thank the Adobe Creek Funeral Services Company and the Santa Rosa Memorial Park staff for their assistance.
