Diane,, I just wanted to send my love to you and your family. I have such nice memories of all of you. Always so kind . And I could be wrong, but were there birthday parties at the Rafael and did you have a firetruck? Long time ago, but the warm feelings continue. Sadly, my parents and John have passed away, but Joe has three daughters and lives nearby.. Our two daughters are grown, but Andy and I live in Petaluma. I saw your parents once or twice around town and got to reminisce. Such lovely people. Much love to all of you, Joan (Anker) Thompson

My heart skipped a little beat when I saw Ann's name in the obituaries. I have amazing memories of my childhood spent with your family. My mom passed in November. I am sure Ann & Joanne are happily reunited, bowling, gossiping and drinking just a bit. Take good care and enjoy the memories made.

Gordon and Ann are two of the most generous people I've met. They both have given selflessly to so many good causes in Sonoma County. And they have always been humble about their generosity. Dinner conversation with Ann always sparkled. She had special insights on issues that could ignite lively conversation.. She was anything but a conventional thinker. Smart as a whip, a capable debater, easy to laugh. Her loss is a special kind of void in my life. I will dearly miss Ann and our conversations. Barbara

I loved Ann very much. I could talk to her when I was growing up rather than my own mother. I will miss her dearly. I was glad I visited her and Gordon last year . My love to Gordon, Mike & Diane.

Can't believe she's gone. I have never met anyone else like her. Such a special person who will be sorely missed.

Ann was one of a kind. She knew my mom since at least the age of 12 and my dad knew Gordon since grade school. The Blumenfeld family are like blood to me. So many laughs and years of hanging out at either of our homes, dancing and drinking at The Sand Dollar in Stinson Beach - I'm talking the entirety of my life with Ann and Gordon. Words cannot describe how blessed I am to have had her in my life. She traveled to upstate NY with Mom and I when I was in acting school. I could go on and on and on and on with our cherished memories. Ann, I love you with every fiber of my being. My love to Gordon, Diane, Michael, your kids and the entire Blumenfeld tribe. No more words. Only LOVE.
