CRISTINA MIA “CRISSY” DAMONTE JARVIS, 54, left us far too soon on July 22, 2019. A True Warrior, she valiantly fought cancer for more than four years before passing peacefully at home, surrounded by family.

Crissy leaves behind her loving husband, Miguel Jarvis, daughter, Gianna Damonte Jarvis and her beloved dog, Bella. She will be greatly missed by parents Henry “Ed” Damonte & Bobbi Damonte of South San Francisco, sister Linda Damonte of Livermore, and brother James Damonte of Pittsburg, as well as nieces and nephews: Tiffany & Naudia Thomas, Angelina & Ariana Galisatus, Alina Hartel, Alan John Roman, Taylor & Ronnie Francesconi. Mother-in-law Paula Jarvis, father-in-law Jon Jarvis, Estella Jarvis, and brother-in-law Jon Jarvis.

The San Rafael resident grew up in South San Francisco, attending Mater Dolorosa Catholic School, El Camino High School and later became a Certified Personal Trainer.

Crissy was a source of energy who loved cheering (loudly!) at Gianna’s basketball games, throwing legendary parties, making chocolate-covered strawberries, and showering love and affection on family & friends.

Crissy never hid her light under a bushel. She always let you know what she was thinking, usually in a way that would make you smile. She was sarcastic, quick to laugh, and always ready to defend those she loved, be they family, friends, or President Trump.

Hundreds of friends, dozens of cousins and many aunts, uncles and extended family will remember Crissy fondly as an always fun, ever gracious spirit. She will live on in our memories and left us many stories to remember her with.

The family invites friends and family to a Celebration of Cristina’s Life on Saturday, August 3rd at 11 am at the South San Francisco Elks Lodge, 920 Stonegate Dr., South San Francisco.  Per Crissy’s request, please wear bright colors and bring happy stories.
