Glenn Edward Kegerreis was born July 28, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, as were his brother John, his father Jack and his grandparents Junior C. Kegerreis and Edna Mae.
Glenn has two siblings: Brother John who is the middle sibling and sister Tricia Savage, the oldest. Also, nieces Laura Hawkins, Katie Kegerreis and nephew Robert Kegerreis round out the Kegerreis family.
Glenn was a proud veteran having gladly served his country in the Army for 12 years. His Army service took him to Germany and Korea.
Glenn’s father’s job was in human resources for a major global construction company. Due to his fluency in Spanish, he challenged himself, and his family, in working primarily overseas.
Besides Louisville, home was also in Central America: Costa Rica where his mother was born. His mother Amparo was a licensed Lab Technician specializing in Cancer Research. Also home included South America: Columbia and Venezuela as well as the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
But of all the places that he had lived, Glenn called Marin county home. Glenn lived and worked in the area for most of his life. He really loved it here.
Glenn is survived by his only child Joshua, who was born in Germany during his service years. Joshua graduated from Humboldt State University and works in forestry in Northern California.
Finally, Glenn is survived by his loving wife Evelyn Kegerreis, whom Glen cherished until of end of his days. Funeral Services will be held, Monday, May 7, 2018 at 1pm at Adobe Creek Funeral Home, 331 Lakeville Street, Petaluma, CA 94952
