James Bellobuon passed away surrounded by his loving family at age 61, on September 24, 2018.

James (Jimmy) Jack Bellobuon was born on December 6, 1956 to MaryAnn (Raffaele) and Frank A. Bellobuon in Missouri.
Jimmy and his family moved to the Satellite Beach area in Florida when Jimmy was a toddler, due to his father being in the Military.

Jimmy was an extraordinary husband, father, brother and friend who grew up in the Satellite Beach area of Florida where he attended Satellite Beach High School-class of 1974. He loved the FL beaches, and was quite the surfer and skateboarder!

Jimmy was an amazingly talented & legendary guitarist, and was very proud of his playing accomplishments. He was the lead guitarist for RoadHogg and The Rippers. His bandmates, Sean McBride, Michael Lewis and Robert Couzzo were his brother’s down to the very core and had a very special bond. They played almost every venue imaginable in Sonoma County and beyond, (Jewel and her husband Ty Murray even came and danced to them in Penngrove, CA !) Jimmy’s highlight was playing at Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo in Mexico with the band. He met Suzy, his wife during his band playing days. She was his biggest fan!

Jimmy moved to California in 1981, to the East Bay, where he got his start in the pool and spa supply industry. This was the beginning of many deep, loyal, long lasting friendships he made with his customers. He eventually made his way to Sonoma County, where he worked for General Pool and Spa Supply and Leisure Pool and Spa Supply both in Rohnert Park, CA. He loved his customers and was so proud to have had the vast knowledge of the pool industry to have given them the service they deserved. He was even a guitarist for a band put together by “pool guys” called The Pool Man Band, who played at different product shows. Jimmy was certainly a “Knowledge-Guy” within the industry.

When Jimmy married his wife, Suzy, he became dad to James Nelson (Bailey)Rohnert Park, Amanda Unangst Santa Rosa, and James Laspina (Amy) Powell, WY. Their bond with Jimmy was about as deep as one could get, he loved his children and was so proud of them! They loved to frequent Disneyland every chance they had, and he loved Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Carribean and The Haunted Mansion. He and Suzy and their kids loved the Giants Baseball Team, and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’ ” was a favorite when it came through the speakers at the games.

He was loving PaPa grandfather to his grandchildren: Lexi Irene and Michael Alan Nelson and Tyler Vantrease. They were his pride and joy.
His brother, Frank A. Bellobuon (Mary) lives in Titusville, FL.
He has many nieces and a nephew who he is so proud of.
Preceded in death by his Mother, MaryAnn Bellobuon, his Father, Frank Bellobuon, and Niece, Kristen Ares.

Jimmy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in July, 2017. He fought the biggest fight ever and he even surprised his doctor’s at times, during his good days when he’d “bounce back” after a major ordeal. His nurses at Santa Rosa Memorial – 3 East were his family away from home, and they brought him such peace and joy. His oncologist, Dr. Holmes, fought for Jimmy right alongside him. He too, was amazing. The many Dr’s and nurses at UCSF, thank you! A celebration of Jimmy life will be held at a later date.
