Uncle Laurence, as he was fondly known passed away Jan. 13th 2017 after a short illness. Born Jan 28, 1933 in Oakland Ca. Graduate of Princeton High school in 1950 after which he went into Air Force and then worked for the FAA for the next thirty years, retiring in Santa Rosa. He was active in the Democratic Party and Madrone Audubon.

Preceded in death by his first wife Wilma and second wife Barbara.  He leaves three step children.  Larry (Cindy) Joyce (Bob) and Sandy. Several grandchildren whom he was very proud of, and a large number of nieces and nephews with whom he spent hours showing and teaching the parks and birds etc. Hence the title Uncle Laurence. Also, sisters Ruth Springer (Tom) Louise Leard and Margaret Sweet (Victor) and brothers David Taylor (Sharon) James Richardson (Edna).

Laurence being Handicapped for the past sixteen years spent hours helping others and working to improve walkways and restrooms for the Handicapped.
